Students from UofT are keen on getting hands on experience in the Biotech industry. These Genetics stream students are well versed with all the latest tools of gene and genome editing and some double major in Statistics or Neuroscience. There is no strict limit on the group size, it could also be individual students or groups of students. In addition, it could be a summer project that involves more hours.

Students in this course work in groups to use their knowledge and skills in geographical information system (GIS) to solve the problems proposed by the partners. According to the goals identified by the partners and the course instructor, students will collect geographic data, analyze data, and visualize data. Eventually, students will create a final report and a presentation through ArcGIS StoryMap.

So please follow the instructions below to be considered for the project.Quick summary: students take this course to develop a software application (web, mobile or desktop) for various use cases. Previous examples include mobile apps for finding travelers in a specific community and web-based applications for connecting a non-profit to volunteers. If the project information is of interest, please go through the steps mentioned in the document. We will not be able to accept requests here as the proposals need to be chosen by the students in September.Please read the Partnership invitation document completely and follow the steps specified there to submit proposals and ask questions.
