Marketing Communications Management - Summer term 2022

Looking to elevate your organization, and bring it to the next level? Bring on students from Kwantlen Polytechnic University to be your student-consultants, in a project-based experience. Students will work on one main marketing communications project over the course of the semester, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools. Students in this marketing communications course learn the essential marketing communications skills associated with strategic planning, briefing creative services, and delivering creative projects through a variety of traditional and contemporary marketing media. They learn how key messages and graphic standards are delivered effectively and consistently to achieve marketing communications objectives. We are looking to partner with clients only in BC, Alberta, or Ontario (please only submit your project if you are located in one of these provinces).

Are you a mid-sized business looking to grow by strategically developing a key account strategy to target new business opportunities and grow into new segments. This fourth-year class of business development students are pulling together all their learnings and developing a key account strategy for your business. This can include strategic analysis, competitive review, key account influencers, gatekeepers and decision-makers.

Does your organization have a marketing challenge you want to tackle? This semester students working in small groups will apply their knowledge in marketing to helping your organization seize a marketing opportunity, develop a strategic marketing plan, or solve a current marketing challenge. The students will use marketing research, strategy, and marketing best practices to create a report and presentation.
